Safe Working Load Signs

Safe working load signs are used on machinery and equipment to display the maximum capacity weight that can be lifted safely. A manufacturer's approved safe working load (SWL) limit is the maximum safe load that a piece of lifting equipment can operate with. For example: a crane has a maximum weight it can securely lift or lower an object without fear of failure. It is important that a safe working load is displayed using a SWL sign to avoid any failures or accidents using lifting equipment.
